Refund policy

Thank you for shopping with Experimax West Houston. We want every customer to feel confident in their purchase. Please review our online return and refund terms below.


Return Eligibility

Most devices and accessories purchased online are eligible for return within 7 days of the delivery date or pickup date unless otherwise stated in the product listing.

To qualify for a return:

  • The item must be returned in the same condition in which it was sold.

  • All original accessories, chargers, cables, packaging, boxes, and included items must be returned.

  • Devices that arrive damaged, altered, or missing components will not be accepted.

Shipping fees are non-refundable.


Restocking Fee

All online returns — including order cancellations after purchase — are subject to a 15 percent restocking fee.

This fee applies to:

  • Returned devices

  • Returned accessories

  • Canceled online orders after processing

  • Open-box shipments


Non-Returnable Products

The following items are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged:

  • “AS IS” devices

  • Software or activation keys

  • Digital licenses

  • Any items marked “Non-Returnable” in the product listing

  • MaxCare+ Extended Service Plans after 7 days or if a claim is opened

Online trade-ins are not offered at this time.


Refund Method

Refunds may be issued in the following ways:

  • To the original payment method (when possible)

  • By mailed check

  • Store credit (optional at customer request)

Please allow 5–10 business days after the item is received and inspected.

All return shipments must be securely packaged and must include:

  • A valid tracking number

  • Signature upon delivery

Experimax West Houston is not responsible for return shipments lost or damaged in transit.


Damaged or Incorrect Orders

If your item arrives damaged or incorrect, notify us within 48 hours of delivery.
Please include photos of:

  • The device

  • Packaging

  • Shipping label

This allows us to file a claim with the carrier and resolve the issue promptly.


In-Store Pickup and Abandoned Orders

Orders marked “Ready for Pickup” must be collected within 3 days.

A government-issued photo ID matching the order name is required for pickup.

After 3 days, unclaimed items are considered abandoned and may be recycled, restocked, or returned to inventory.
A 10% restocking fee will apply to abandoned orderes.
